A 1 and a 0
There are many distinctions that can be drawn in the modern world. Some people are negative, some are positive. Some people have a high IQ, and some don’t. The duality and harmony of separate entities is a staple in understanding the fundamental nature of the universe: protons and electrons, hot and cold, black and white. The ability to understand the dualistic balance of the universe is a skill in itself, and once one starts to see it, they may never unsee it. Another of the most fundamental building blocks of this dualistic nature are the feminine 0 and the masculine 1. Here are a few of my favorite examples of my own creation:
Men are angelic demons, and women are demonic angels.
Men are time wizards, and women are nature witches.
Men are firesmiths, and women are water shapers.
Men are sky watchers, and women are Earth keepers.
Men are storm bringers, and women are sunweavers.
Men are mountain molders, and women are forest tenders.
Men are shadow casters, and women are light bearers.
You can go against this basic universal constant as much as you want, yet the more you notice it, the more you will notice it. This is a constant that has been around since the dawn of time. Men and women alike have been shamans of tribes, yet men have always been the hunters, exploring the unknown and venturing outside the borders of safety to gain knowledge and wisdom of the land. They trek the external world and bring back food for the tribe. The more you know the land and how to use it for the tribe's benefit, the better equipped the tribe will be to deal with any threats.
Women look after the internal worlds, gather berries, and ensure that the younger members of the tribe are healthy and well cared for. They also ensure that the internal world of the men is functioning like a well-oiled machine so that the men can go out and trek the unknown another day. There is a middle ground, however, where boys and girls become men and women. In aboriginal societies, women would be taken to a bush camp and taught survival skills and the role of women in their tribes. Men are taken away from their communities and families and instructed by elders on how to be men for their tribe. Like the women, they are taught essential survival skills and guided by elders.
