Healthy garden

"The release of either physical or psychic tension through the use of expressed emotion is something I find myself engaging with on a day-to-day basis. Whether it be done through expression or learning, it can help purify the heart, body, mind, and soul, and results will be seen based upon the amount of effort exerted. Be careful with this method, though, as it may open doors you are not ready to walk through.

Say, for example, your heart is full of hate and judgment. Expressing these emotions through art or writing may be one of the first steps at making room in your heart for more positive emotions such as love, compassion, and empathy. The same can be said for the mind.

Envision a garden where each type of crop or fruit represents a type of thought, habit, emotion, or opinion. If you are caught up in negative thought patterns and emotions such as fear, confusion, overthinking, and general negativity, then the corresponding vegetable or fruit has to be dug up and the roots need to be pulled out so you can make room in your garden for healthier, more sustainable plants."
